Imagine wanting to bulldoze hundreds of hectares of endangered koala habitat for a dirty new coal mine. Well, that's exactly what Whitehaven are planning to do!
On 12 June Move Beyond Coal revisited JFE's foyer for the third time in 2 weeks following up on meeting requests and calling on the company to rule out any involvement with Whitehaven Coal. They flyered staff and passers by. Police moved the group on after about 40mins - who continued to hold up banners and signs on the footpath outside speaking to passers by.
